1st Place in Montrose and Delta provide permanence for youth ages 18 - 24 who are emancipating from foster care or are at immediate risk of homelessness.
Through support, guidance, and a stable place to achieve independence youth have a place to call home. A place where they can afford rent, pursue an education or training, receive financial education, a driver’s license, and a first job.
1st Place on 2nd Street (Montrose, CO)
1st Place on 2nd Street in Montrose: Includes 4 one-bedroom units and 4 2-bedroom units. Each unit has their own washer and dryer, AC, kitchen (microwave not included). 1st Place on 2nd Street also has a common room for tenants to access computers, printers, washer-dryer, and living room.
1st Place on 2nd Street in Montrose is in a central location with access to job opportunities, Colorado Mesa University, and plenty of opportunities to explore the outdoors.
1st Place on Palmer Street (Delta, CO)
1st Place on Palmer in Delta: Includes 6 one-bedroom units each unit includes a kitchenette. 1st Place on Palmer also has a common area that includes a family living space, a computer workstation and full kitchen/dining room, and 2 shared washer and dryers.
1st Place on Palmer is in a central location just a few blocks from main street where you can find plenty of job opportunities. Technical College of the Rockies is also within miles of 1st Place on Palmer.
The Village on San Juan (Montrose, CO)
Our newest supportive housing project is a 33-unit intergenerational Supportive Housing Community for Young Adults 18 to 24, and Seniors 60+, at imminent risk for homelessness. The project includes 8 Acres of land in a conservation easement for walking trails and outdoor activities and a 3,000 square foot Community Building.
