The PIC Place comprehensive healthcare
Medical care including health, dental, and vision to patients who cannot afford other healthcare options. The only qualifying factor to become a patient is demonstration of financial need or inability to find another health home.
The Shepherd's Hand assisting those who need a helping hand
Provides a safe and friendly gathering place for delivering needed services such as financial assistance, counseling, community resources, food distribution, showers/laundry, clothing, and hot meals.
Life's Choices provides support and education for pregnancy and parenting
Providing ultrasounds, pregnancy tests, and abortion info. Life choices also provides services such as provides parenting classes on hundreds of topics related to pregnancy and parenting. You can meet with one of their client advocates once a week, watch a lesson on BrightCourse, and earn baby bucks.
Hilltop - offer real world solutions for long-lasting success
Youth services such as comprehensive confidence-building and pregnancy prevention services, youth accountability services designed to prevent further involvement of youth in the formal justice system, and Wellness 360, a pro-social group helping learn life skills through activities and opportunities.
WIC (Women, Infants & Children)
WIC provides no-cost food assistance, nutrition education and breastfeeding support for pregnant women, new moms, babies, and children up to age five. WIC is also a great source for information and referrals.
Crisis Walk-In Center on site services for anyone of any age experiencing a mental health crisis
Access in person mental health support during a crisis. No appointment needed. The Crisis Center in Montrose also has a Crisis Stabilization unity for those aged 12 and older who may need short-term, 24/7 care.
Montrose Recreation District
See what your local rec center has to offer! Montrose Rec center also has a scholarship for those who qualify to be eligible for $75 per year in scholarships which cover up to half of the cost of a program or pass.
Delta
River Valley Family Health Center offers discounted medical services on a sliding fee scale for qualifying patients
All-in-one integrated health services. River Valley Family Health Centers’ goal is to meet the needs of the community be working with your insurance and income status. They accept most insurances including: Medicare, Medicaid, CHP+ and CICP.
Delta County Health & Human Services
Provides public assistance to those who qualify such as adult protection services, child support services, assistance with food, medical, and utilities.

Delta Housing Authority assist in providing housing that is safe, decent, and affordable
The authority can provide you with the income levels for Delta County and family size, giving each client a “hand up” not just a “hand out” during their period of transition.
Delta County Legal Assistance with free legal advice clinics
Low-income eligible legal consultation service that takes place every Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the basement of the Delta County Courthouse.
Axis Health System Center for Mental Health
Providing community-focused mental and behavioral health services.
Delta Food Pantry
Delta food pantry is open five mornings per week and one evening per month. Each family typically receives enough meat for three or four days, a supply of canned goods, dry goods, fresh produce, flour. sugar, milk, & eggs.
Bill Heddles Rec Center
Delta’s recreation center includes amenities such as a pool, dry sauna, weight room, cycle room, gymnasium, racquetball courts, conference/meeting rooms, kitchen facility, and water fitness classes.
